Rashmi Baird is a Canadian artist working in etching and found-object sculpture. Her practice explores psychology, decay, myth, and ritual, drawing attention to transitional states where objects, images, and identities begin to unravel and transform. Through material processes that embrace erosion, fracture, and repetition, her work evokes quiet narratives of loss, persistence, and symbolic return. Baird’s work situates the handmade as a site of inquiry into memory, the unconscious, and the afterlife of form.
